Digging Deeper For God's Word

I have more verses that I will gladly share. For starters,
If you're looking for something about God's love, I would suggest this,
1 Corinthians 2:9 (NIV)
However, as it is written,
"No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him."
Or another of running the race of life,
1 Cor 9: 24-27 (NIV)
Do you know that in a race all the runners run, but one gets a crown? Everyone who comletes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last; but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. Therefore I do not gith like a man beating the air. No, I beat my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myslef will not be disqualified for the prize.
~In a race would you ever try to come in last? Then why start a relationship with Christ only to do your very least to keep it alive? Run to win!

This is one of my ABSOLUTE favorites about Love,
1 Corinthians 13:4-8
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not boast it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love doesn't delight in evil, but rejoices with truth. It always protects, always trusts always hopes, always preserves. (I took a bit from the next verse, 8) Love never fails.

~When you think about being in love, what comes to mind? Moonlit walks, starry eyed gazes? Love is far more than romantic feelings. Genuine is a choice to do act a certain way regardless of how you feel. Love is patient when you're frustrated, kind when people are unkind. Love always seeks the good of others. Love doesn;t get mad easilt or hold grudges. Think you're in love? Would your love pass this test? How about your love for your family and friends'? True love is to love as God does.

Think of the order of your life like this,

Jesus
Others
You
Allyssa
